New World Arbalest presents...
#4E -- "The Flemish Arbalest", ca. 1400 - 1650;
Length, 30 - 36 inches.

This bow dates from the fifteenth through seventeenth centuries. It is flat-sided and rectangular in cross section. These bows saw use all over Europe, and were often very powerful. Ours comes with metal lockplates and a grooved top for quarrel-track.
